Thanks, no someone told me about it and I keep meaning to look but I keep forgetting, haha. What inspired me in the 'killing fields' in Cambodia. There are places you can go and just look at millions of skulls in glass cases. Oh, btw, thanks for the welcome! <3
No probs. I've heard of the Cambodia fields - absolutley horrific. There's a difference between a grave yard and holocaust graves, (which I didn't pick up on to start with - presented with just skulls). Although I suppose the skulls just show death as a leveler (all have to go sometime?). Death is always a tricky subject to broach theoretically. Just thinking about it sends my mind in circles
I defiantly know what you mean. Got some feed back on my work from my tutor and it seems my work just keeps making new twist and turns. I really just can't sit still for a minute!
That is much better than sitting still though - that's a terrible sign. Twists and turns is just another way of saying creativity. But I know what you mean, you're always told to have a good understanding of the context and the themes in your work. And it makes it a far more difficult and challenging project when you start dealing with ambivalent subject matter, and contradictions.
Oh, btw, thanks for the welcome! <3
